Green-niche Conservational Institute (GCI) is one of the aspiring scientific Institute in South Sudan with passion and dedication to combat three planetary crisis-climate change, pollution and biodiversity loss through evidence based scientific research as we always witness the results and impacts of planetary issues.
Founded in May 2025, and registered by national Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Affairs as a reflection and commitment to its legal compliance and accountability.
The Institute aims to foster a sense of ownership and responsibility towards the natural environment in response to face the catastrophic impacts of climate change on the communities and the environment.
The Institute strategized to promote sustainable development, biodiversity protection, improve waste management and pollution and empower local communities to adapt and mitigate the impact of climate change.
These can be achieved through research and advocacy, capacity building and community engagement in order to create a more sustainable and resilient future for South Sudan
